Review: Intersolar Europe 2026 – Evolving Markets, Increasing Project Complexity 

Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich once again highlighted the rapid pace of change across the photovoltaic industry. Large-scale PV projects are becoming increasingly complex, placing higher demands on project planning, economic viability, and technical execution. At the same time, efficient land use and the long-term optimization of energy yields continue to gain importance. 

Market conditions across international project regions are also evolving continuously. Topics such as energy storage integration, bankability, regulatory requirements, and site-specific challenges are playing an increasingly important role in project development, requiring tailored and economically viable solutions. 

The many discussions held throughout the exhibition demonstrated that experience, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of diverse market requirements remain key factors in the successful implementation of PV projects. The exchange with customers, partners, suppliers, and industry peers provided valuable insights into current developments as well as future opportunities and challenges.
